MAX'S DAVINCI ASSIST v2.2.0
The AI edit assistant for DaVinci Resolve — by Maximilian Raible
maximilianraible.com/assist

REQUIRES: Ollama (free, ollama.com) with at least one model, e.g.:
  ollama pull llama3.2
OPTIONAL: ffmpeg (for waveform fine-sync in Doc Sync), e.g.: brew install ffmpeg

QUICK START
1. Copy the matching edition into Resolve's scripts folder:
   - "Max's Davinci Assist (Studio).lua" → for DaVinci Resolve Studio
   - "Max's Davinci Assist (Free).lua" → for the free version of Resolve (19.1+)

   macOS: ~/Library/Application Support/Blackmagic Design/DaVinci Resolve/Fusion/Scripts/Utility/
   Windows: %APPDATA%\Blackmagic Design\DaVinci Resolve\Support\Fusion\Scripts\Utility\

2. Restart DaVinci Resolve.
3. Open it via Workspace → Scripts → Max's Davinci Assist.

TWO TOOLS IN ONE
• Assistant: footage folder → AI proposes project structure → revise in plain
words → builds bins, imports, timelines. One click sorts in new footage later.
• Doc Sync: builds a "synced dailies" timeline — camera clips by
timecode, wireless/recorder audio in FULL length on own tracks, AUDIO-ONLY
markers where sound ran without picture. Waveform sync works without timecode.

100% local: only file/folder NAMES are sent to Ollama on YOUR machine.
Your footage never leaves your computer. Nothing is moved or deleted.

Full instructions: see "Manual (English).md" / "Handbuch (Deutsch).md".
